Royal Truck & Trailer
To celebrate their 50th anniversary and introduction of their new logo, Royal Truck and Trailer reached out to us to fabricate and install new signage for their signs at their multiple locations across southeastern Michigan. We recommended energy efficient LED lighting and now the signs are clear and bright! Be sure to visit their locations in Warren, Wixom, Dearborn & Gaylord. Paul Deters is the president of Metro Signs & Lighting, since he and his father John purchased the company in 1996. Operating a business can be challenging but that is what Paul loves most about it; constantly learning and growing.
Paul’s favorite hobby is traveling, which has been a little hard with the pandemic. As Paul said, thankfully we live in a beautiful state like Michigan. He believes that everyone should float down a Northern Michigan river with a fishing pole in the fall at least once in their lives.
The pandemic has changed the way we do things now. The biggest change may be how we shop. Paul says that he is purposely trying to give as much business as possible to local, independent stores and restaurants. He believes that local businesses hold our communities together!”
Every day is something new, so learning is a necessity. It has been so much fun seeing our team continuously rising to the challenge of figuring out how to provide great products and services that help our customers showcase their brands. I hope everyone at Metro feels the same sense of pride and accomplishment as I do over contributing that to our community.”

As a Night patroller, you drive around at night from 8 pm – midnight and take photos of light and sign outages following a designated route. You pick the 4 nights that best fit your schedule.
