Lighting as a Service or LaaS is just like Netflix, but instead of a movie/television subscription service it’s your property’s new LED lighting as a subscription service. That’s right, pay a fixed monthly subscription fee and in return your business/property will receive new LED lighting with the most up to date technological controls. And Includes all of the maintenance that’s needed to make sure your energy bill goes down and keeps your desired light levels year round. If you or someone you know would like to get specific and see how LaaS can positively impact your P & L, contact Metro Signs & Lighting today and ask for Kenny Ayers, our Energy Solutions Specialist.

Denise is our Office Administrator. If you called our Warren Office, you would most likely talk to her! She has been with our company for 10 years. Her favorite thing to do outside of the office is taking walks with her family and dog! We asked Denise how her shopping habits have changed since the pandemic began, her response was “I shop online a lot more, especially at Christmas! I still go in store to grocery shop, but a little less frequently.” Big shoutout to Denise for building relationships with our customers and coming in each day with a big smile!

Do you know the difference between and an occupancy sensor and a vacancy sensor? An occupancy sensor will turn lights on and off using a motion detector, if the motion detector senses motion in the space the lights come on, no motion in the space after an amount of time the lights turn off. With a vacancy sensor, the lights are turned on by a switch manually upon entering a space, and once no motion is detected for an amount of time, the lights turn off by themselves.
