City of Greenville Wayfinding
Parks, Museums, Libraries, Municipal Offices, Parking Locations, & Public Event Spaces. All of these are critical locations for municipalities that go under-utilized if they are not clearly marked with signage. This means more than throwing up some pretty letters near the entrance too. Putting directionals and way-finding signage in high foot-traffic intersections is a guaranteed way to engage community members with their public spaces.
The City of Greenville was all-in on giving their residents clear and professional directions for parking and way-finding. The Problem? Their current signage was made of splintering wood, faded vinyl, and peeling paint! Recognizing Greenville’s need for a turnkey signage provider that could handle design, manufacturing, permitting, and installation, Metro Signs and Lighting won the project and got to work!
Here is what was in place:
And here are the changes Metro provided:
Delivering 53 custom branded signs spread across 5 city blocks is a feat that is sure to make anyone sweat the details. And if you know anything about sign projects, you know that there are A LOT OF DETAILS. Metro Signs took the pressure off of this process by providing to-scale renderings, site plans, and other design work for the building department to (pun intended) ~sign~ off on. After all, a sign is only as good as the information it gets across to the viewer, and we are here to ensure that no specifics get lost in translation.
After the imagery, font, color, and engineering have all been approved by the city and customer, we begin the manufacturing process! As our fabricators bring your project to life, you can expect systematic updates from your sales rep. to ensure that your deadlines hold firm. Lastly, our seasoned installation team steps in to bring your project to the finish line and provide you with completion photos! All of this amazing work contributes to the Metro Signs & Lighting vision of creating positive changes in our local communities. 🏘️
