Cohesive Branding for a New Facility
When College Career & Beyond Midnight Golf Program relocated to its new downtown Detroit headquarters, the organization saw an opportunity to create more than a functional educational facility.
The new space needed to reflect CCB's mission of preparing Detroit students for success in college, careers, and life while creating an environment that inspires confidence.
Metro Signs & Lighting was selected to design, fabricate, and install a comprehensive interior signage package that transformed the new facility into a cohesive branded experience. From large-scale graphics and donor recognition displays to ADA-compliant wayfinding signage, every element was made to support both the organization's mission and the functionality of the space.
The Challenge
Connecting the Space to the Stakeholders
A new headquarters often begins as a collection of clean walls and empty corridors. For CCB, those blank surfaces represented a canvas of opportunity to reinforce its identity and create an environment that students, staff, volunteers, and donors would immediately connect with.
The project required a coordinated signage system that would accomplish several objectives simultaneously. The facility needed strong branding throughout public spaces, motivational graphics that reflected the organization's purpose, clear navigation for visitors, and code-compliant ADA signage for every required room.
Design & Fabrication
A Complete Graphics System
Working closely with the project team, Metro Signs & Lighting produced a complete interior environmental graphics package tailored to the new facility.
Large-format wall graphics introduced bold messaging throughout common areas, gathering spaces, corridors, and the indoor golf practice area. Custom dimensional acrylic lettering added depth to feature walls, while a custom donor display created a prominent focal point honoring the people and organizations supporting CCB.
More than 35 ADA-compliant room identification and informational signs were also fabricated to support accessibility and code compliance while maintaining the facility's clean, modern visual language.

The project included more than 35 code-compliant ADA signs positioned throughout restrooms, offices, utility spaces, meeting rooms, and other required locations.
Each sign incorporated tactile lettering, Braille, and consistent mounting placement. The black-and-white design complements the facility's modern interior while helping visitors navigate the building confidently.
